Harry Potter MMORPG?

When will EA, who have the distributing rights for all HP games, develop, or better yet, get someone else to develop, a HP massively multiplayer online role playing game? Over 300 million books sold, an adaptable mmorpg type universe, movies grossing billions of dollars, the recent success in the mmorpg game genre, not to mention the millions of fans that are depressed because the books have ended, doesn鈥檛 seem to be able to convince them.Harry Potter MMORPG?
With the success of WoW, and the popularity of Harry Potter, I wouldn鈥檛 be surprised if there hasn鈥檛 at least been talk at EA to make a Harry Potter game similar to WOW. Since if they get even half of the 8 million people WoW has, they still walk away with 60 million a month in subscriptions. There best selling madden games only sold 3.5 million copies at 50 bucks a copy that only 175 Million (and that total). In 3 months with 1/2 the subscribers WoW has they would make more money.



So I think a Harry Potter MMO is possible, it all comes down to if EA is capable of making an MMO that isn鈥檛 crap, which I doubt.Harry Potter MMORPG?
hello i m also thinking of making such virtual hogwarts.but at this time i am doing my I.T engg. and busy with it. but i will definitely like to work for such a project. i have lots of ideas about how that will work.If anyone is interested please post here.or contact me by email.

Well that would be kinda nice...knowing EA it will be cheap...but knowing EA also that they will have it have monthly fees so that's out...



Lemme think...what would the story line be? Continuation of the plot after the 7th book? Sounds like Rowling has to get back up on her feet...



Think of the storyline. Think of how many MMO's that seem SOOOO good in concept, and then just fail. (The list is just ENDLESS lol) How would YOU create it?
