Start an online store?

Hi. I'm 22 and I've always loved buying and trading Trading cards. I've got a whole bunch of cards and thought it would be a good idea to create a online store selling individual cards from different Trading card games like Harry Potter, Neopets, etc. and eventually booster packs. It's always been a dream of mine to own a card shop and thought a online store for a small home business would be a good way to start but I'm not sure where to go or where to get information on what to do.

Does anyone have any information or advice that would help? I thought about Ebay but it's not very explanitory. I'm just not sure what you need to start out or where to go to find out. Thanks!Start an online store?
I am not sure about a trading cards and making some money doing it. You really need to find a collector that is wanting the cards you have so Ebay is probably your best bet. There's a new open source ecommerce platform called Magento that looks great, I haven't used it myself yet however it's free and has impressive features (take a look at the product tour). Something you could download and play around with to see if it works for you.

Other than that there are Yahoo stores you can open and of course the Ebay store.Start an online store?
Ebay would be a good start. Create an account in Ebay and list your card with a picture and whats the minimum you would like to charge for it.



Or you can create your own website and you need to market the website so people come to your site. You can integrate your site with paypal to collect money. And then mail the cards to the buyers.
