These need to be inexpensive. They are for church camp - but the theme is kind of military.How can I make children's name tags that look like military dog tags?You can get the real dog tag and have it engraved (3 lines) at Walmart for $4 each - that might be too much though but if the parents are willing to chip in this is something there kid can keep and use after the camp.



It's usefull for young ones in case they get lost. Engrave the kid name, phone number and/or address. Our kids wear them on their shoes.

Well, first buy some camouflage scrapbook paper. Then cut them to be about this big and this shape:

Then, I would cut out some cardboard in the same shape and glue it to the back so its stronger. Then put some more of the camoflauge paper to cover the cardboard. Another idea is to buy some gray colored foam paper and cut out the shape you want and punch a hole in the top and attach some yarn. You could get several out of one sheet.
