How would out of state military get motorcycle class on his license?

Active duty, out of state military. I want to get a motorcycle but how would I be able to get my license updated if im not able to get back to my state. Im from illinois but there is nothing on the website about it.

Im stationed in texas, would i be able to get a license here as well as keep my illinois license, even if im not a resident of texas? How would out of state military get motorcycle class on his license? Most states have reciprocal agreement that if you are licensed in 1 state it is honored in another, so take the TX test and then add it to the Il license when you get back or just take the test again. How would out of state military get motorcycle class on his license?Sorry, but you cannot have more than one license at one time. You'd have to declare residency in Texas then transfer your Illinois license to Texas.

You can try contacting the Illinois Secretary of State (217) 782-6901 to see if they would accept a military motorcycle training certificate to add the endorsement to your license.
