Is acrobatic flying resreved for military pilots only?

A couple of days ago I watched the Red Bull Air Race finals in Perth and I wonder who are those pilots. Are they all military pilots or are they airline pilots?

Is it enough to have the medical class 1 for acrobatic flying?...or is there a special medical exam for them?

Ah I麓m so ignorant, yeah but I`ve never thought about this before.

Thanks in advanceIs acrobatic flying resreved for military pilots only?Only thing you need is a private pilot license and a type rating for the plane you wanna fly in. Then additional it is advisory to take some lessons from a pro. Stunts are pushing the plane to the edges of it's performance, so better understand something of aerodynamics and aircraft performance (these things are part of your flight training theory so pay attention i suggest). You gonna face some nice G-forces so pick a plane that can stand up the load factors of the moves.

ONE last thing!!! don't practice over urban area... citizens could get a bit nerved and call the police...Is acrobatic flying resreved for military pilots only?
Well, here in Canada, all you technically need is a private pilot license and an airplane that can do aerobatics if you don't intend on carrying any passengers. It is highly recommended that you get some training before you start on your own.Is acrobatic flying resreved for military pilots only?no, if you buy an aerobatic plane like an Extra and get a licence for it, what's stopping you?Is acrobatic flying resreved for military pilots only?
No they do not need to be military pilots, I have taken a few aerobatic lessons and it was a blast! Is acrobatic flying resreved for military pilots only?no just fly really good
