I need a good list of books.?

I still have a borders gift card with money on it and now i need to waste it before borders online closes also. So i would like a list of good books and a short summary on them. It will be appreciated.

Im into books like the hunger games, harry potter, the mortal instruments, etc. Help!I need a good list of books.?
The Maze Runner(sequeled by the Scorch Trials) is a sci-fi dystopian future sort of deal like that of Hunger Games.

The Host by Stephenie Meyers is win. It's not related to Twilight, if you don't want to associate yourself with the Twilight franchise like many others. It is my favorite book nbd.

Graceling(prequeled by Fire[which sucks]) is very very good. It's about people who have special gifts(Graces) and one particular girl who has a fighting Grace. There is also a boy. Yus, yus, make your assumptions.

I enjoyed the Mysterious Benedict Society, however it was not magnificent. It's about a gaggle of young kids who are all gifted with intelligence of sorts and how they figure out mysteries and problems. It's really very cute.

Twilight. If you're a hater of Twilight, I'm sorry. They really are great books though, even though Kristen Stewart ruins the whole entire film franchise. Darn her.

Divergent, aforementioned, is something I think (based on your previous reads) you might be into. It's well written.

Matched is another Dystopian Future book, sort of like The Giver if you've ever read that (if not do it! It's old but it's magnificent). However, the writing style of the author makes me want to gouge out my eyes with my booklight. The story, though, is decent enough to make up for the writing.

I hope I was of assistance.

Happy reading(:

You've probably already read The Infernal Devices: Clockwork Angel if you're into Cassandra Clare, but, if not, definitely that.

There seems to be leanings towards books with a little romance, so to that I'd suggest:

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins - American girl goes to France and meets really hot guy with an English accent and a troubled relationship with his father (like Jace)

There's also lot of adventure/save the world stuff in those, so:

The Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan - Children of the Greek gods go on all sorts of quests in modern day New York...this is actually quite funny

*He also has a series about Egyptian mythology that is much the same...out so far are The Red Pyramid and Throne of Fire

Bloody Jack by L.A. Meyer - This is a very long series about a girl who dresses up as a boy and runs away to sea, having all sorts of adventures when she does. There's a long suffering romance like Jace and Clary, and she's a very strong female character, like Katniss.
I'll tell you what the series is and then put the books in order. =)

The immortal series by Alyson Noel:

Evermore

Blue Moon

Shadowland

Dark Flame

Night Star

Everlasting

The touch series by Laurie Faria Stolarz:

Deadly Little Secret

Deadly Little Lies

Deadly Little Games

Percy Jackson %26amp; the olympian series by Rick Riodan:

The Lightning Thief

The Sea of Monsters

The Titan's Curse

The Battle of the Labyrinth

The Last Olympian

The Heroes of Olympus Series by Rick Riordan (same characters from the Percy Jackson series but you have to read the percy jackson series first to understand the heroes of olympus series)

The Lost Hero

The Son of Neptune (comes out this fall)

The Riley Bloom Series by Alyson Noel

Radiance

Shimmer

Dreamland (comes out this fall)

Whisper (comes out spring 2012)

The House of Night Series by PC Cast + Kristin Cast

Marked

Betrayed

Chosen

Untamed

Hunted

Tempted

The Wolves of Mercy Falls series by Maggie Stiefvader:

The Kane Chronicals series by Rick Riordan:

these books are AMAZING!

I think you might like the Percy Jackson series the best!

Sorry I didn't add any description, I've listed too many books.

But you can go on goodreads.com , look up the book and read the summary!I need a good list of books.?
Divergent is a good, dystopian read. I also would recommend the Maze Runner trilogy, also dystopian. Both are recommended for fans of The Hunger Games, and I loved both of them.

For some fantasy reads there's Inkheart. I also really like anything by L.J. Smith, which is more fantasy/paranormal.
fallen
house of night
the immortals
laurel
morganville vampires
vampire academy
the summoning
vampire diaries
