Am I considerered a nerd? Just curious :P...?

I'm being totally serious. Everyone's calling me a nerd lately. Even my mother. Which is probably not a good sign. My friends are abandoning me because I'm not obsessive over guys, makeup, and shoes. Ugh.

Harry Potter (yep, it's true :P )



Sparkly things (NOT VAMPIRES.)



Video games like Spider man, Grand Theft Auto, The Sims 2. Pretty much anything free-range, fully explorable games.



Stuffed Animals (yeah, I just have a lot of them.)



Roller coasters (Cedar Point is AMAZING.)



Big cities and being high off the ground.



WHAT I DON'T LIKE:



shopping. Especially school shopping for clothes.



Cleaning things.



Drooling over boys. I love my guy friends, and I like guys, but I'm not obsessive.



Dancing. Dancing. DANCING. I can't dance for my life :P

meh, i think of nerds as having huge glasses and doing differential equations for fun over video games, though those kinds of people aren't that common. I think everyone has a little nerd mixed in somewhere. For some, it might be computers (like me), or mathematics, or even star trek. However, these are just interests they have, nothing more.
Well, I am a 13 year old guy and I'd say that you could fit into that category, but so could I. I love looking at things under my microscope, i love using my chemistry set, i love math, i love harry potter, i love computers, i love technology and i consider to place myself under that category, happily. Most nerds turn out to be very important people ( i.e. Bill Gates, Steve Jobs.) It's something that you should be proud of.Am I considerered a nerd? Just curious :P...?
It is ok to be you because that is who you are. Some people will like it and some people won't. We can't please everyone. People who try to please everyone are looking for approval. You don't need approval you just got to learn to love who you are and then others will like you too.
Yes, you kind of fit that stereotype. But, it's not a bad thing. Also at your age it is normal to start growing apart from your friends. Start trying to meet people who share your interests. You will feel a lot less like a nerd when you have friends who are the same way.Am I considerered a nerd? Just curious :P...?
